The TTAB Manual of Procedure (“TBMP”) is a manual that covers practice before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”), such as oppositions and cancellations.  Until recently, the last edition of the TBMP was published in 2004.  However, significant changes had occurred since 2004 that affected practice before the TTAB.  Last month, The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office released the third edition of the TBMP, which is updated to cover the significant legal changes that have occurred since 2004.
